These terms govern your use of MoodMark ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What MoodMark is

MoodMark is a personal mood-tracking journal. It lets you log how you're feeling, view trends over time, and optionally connect third-party health devices (Whoop, Google Health) to see correlations with your biometric data.

MoodMark is a personal tool, not a medical device. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Your account

You sign in via Google through Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use MoodMark.

Your data

Your mood entries, journal notes, and connected health data belong to you. We don't sell it or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how we use it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other users' data or reverse-engineer the app.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law.
• Abuse or overload our infrastructure (e.g. automated scraping or excessive API calls).

Third-party integrations

Connecting Whoop or Google Health is optional and governed by those services' own terms. We access only the data you explicitly authorise, on a read-only basis. You can revoke access at any time from MoodMark's Settings.

Availability

We provide MoodMark as-is and make no guarantees about uptime or uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to give reasonable notice for significant changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoodMark and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
